Having left school in 1980 at 16 I trained as a bricklayer for 3 years at South East London Building College in Sydenham. My father would not let me go on to do the advanced brickwork 4th year and thus I joined the business.

During my early years in the trade I learnt all manner of trade skills including fitting kitchens. Here I started to learn ceramics and have been tiling for most of my working life. My tiling website is www.fix-a-tile.com where my portfolio and other information can be viewed.

In the last few years I have expanded my work portfolio (client pressure!) to move into Property Renovation and Restoration. The tiling business has now been included within the new company.
